GREG L. COLLINS
Chairman and Chief Executive Officer
Greg has over 30 years of business experience including high-technology general management, investment banking, public accounting, and computer systems design.
From 1991 to 2003, Greg was an independent consultant, “angel” investor, and director of several high-technology companies. From 1988 to 1991, he was an investment banker with The Stamford Company, a joint venture partner with Shearson Lehman Hutton. Greg was the President of Digital Controls Corporation, a computer systems integrator, from 1981 to 1984. Upon Digital Controls’ sale to Carlisle Companies, Inc. (a Fortune 500 company), he became president of the Carlisle Systems Group until 1988. From 1978 to 1981, Greg also worked in public accounting and consulting with Touche Ross & Company and Arthur Andersen & Company.
He graduated from the University of Colorado in 1976 with a B.S. degree in Finance and received his MBA from the University of Michigan in 1978.
MICHAEL E. DAILEY
Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Worldwide Sales
Michael brings over 25 years of experience leading direct and channel technology sales efforts to Optica. He is currently responsible for Optica’s global operations and worldwide sales strategy.
Prior to joining Optica, Michael was a vice president at Right90 Inc., a Software-as-Service (SaaS) based Enterprise Sales Forecasting solution for high tech manufacturers from 2005 to 2007. He served as vice president of Sales Americas and vice president of Global Account Sales for McData Corporation, now part of Brocade Communications Systems, Inc. (Communications and Networking) from 2001 to 2005. Mr. Dailey began his career at IBM Corporation and during his 13-years held a variety of executive positions in sales, product marketing, and strategy. He also served as Director of Sales Operations for IBM Americas’ multi-billion dollar Server Group (IT Services and Consulting). Mr. Dailey joined Zix Corporation’s Board of Directors in January 2013.

GIL C. FISHER
Gil is responsible for Optica’s development team and brings over 27 years of experience in mainframe systems and technologies. Gil joined Optica in 1984, where he has architected, designed and managed the development of the company’s many successful channel attached technology solutions. He has also overseen Optica’s manufacturing operations and logistics services.
Prior to Optica, Gil worked for Burroughs Corporation in the field services group.
Gil holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Information Systems.
SEAN T. SEITZ
Vice President of Technical Services and Business Development
Sean is responsible for technical sales, services delivery and product support worldwide. He brings more than 25 years of mainframe industry experience in technical field management, consulting services management, and business development.
Prior to joining Optica, Sean worked for McDATA Corporation where he fulfilled various professional services, sales and services management roles, most recently as Director of Professional Services where he is credited with expanding McDATA’s services business prior to their acquisition of CNT. Before joining McDATA, Sean held various consulting services and practice management roles for Amdahl Corporation and Fujitsu Technology Solutions.
Sean holds a B.S. Degree in Business Administration from Miami University (Ohio).
