Louisville CO, January 30, 2008 – Optica Technologies Incorporated, the leader in mainframe connectivity and security solutions, is pleased to announce that Mr. Peter Dixon recently joined the company as the General Manager of its Asia Pacific/Japan territory. Mr. Dixon’s primary responsibility is to generate and manage revenue growth in Asia Pacific/Japan through expansion of Optica’s channel partner programs and direct customer engagement.

Prior to joining Optica, Peter worked for Computer Network Technology Corp. (CNT), which is now part of Brocade, where he gained extensive mainframe experience in the Asia Pacific Japan Region. Most recently, Peter held a Senior Management position at NeoScale, an open systems encryption and key management solutions provider. Neoscale’s principal assets were recently purchased by nCipher.
